Who is this chick, anyway?!

While still new to Richmond, Debby Moro is no newcomer to creativity and the arts.

After nearly a decade in the exciting world of sales and use tax auditing and consulting, Debby returned to school to study interior design.  She graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Atlanta, and her student portfolio was one of the first featured on the Institute's website "Circle of Excellence".  She worked with other Atlanta-based designers and real estate agents on a variety of projects, including model homes, kitchen and bath design, church renovation, and event design.

During the family's time in Colorado, Debby's youngest child had an unusual request for his birthday cake.  She was unable to find a bakery to accomodate the request, so she designed and made it herself.  After moving to Richmond in 2008, she contributed cakes to a few social gatherings, all to rave reviews.  Shortly after winning the Chesterfield County Fair's decorated cake division, she decided to start her business, Sugar Buzz!, LLC.  She loves using her design skills to create cakes that match her clients' style.

When she's not "baking and caking", Debby keeps her hands busy by painting, refinishing furniture, sewing, and drawing.
